Denise C Covey is a native Queenslander from Australia’s Sunshine Coast, but her travel bag is always ready. When she’s not working as an educator, she travels. Under the Tuscan Moon is her first publication, a paranormal romance novella. This series was inspired by adventures in Tuscany, with its medieval villas, its hill towns bordered by gates and parapets, its noble past and its magical forests. Imagining those forests during medieval times.

Denise has had flash fiction, short stories and travel articles published in Australian magazines. Other publications include a vignette in the first edition of the Vine Leaves Literary Journal, a flash fiction in the Campaigner Challenges e-book in 2011, and the Dog Days of Summer flash fiction competition on Conversations from Land’s Edge where she placed second. An article she compiled on writing craft was published in the Insecure Writers Support Group e-book. Her fictionalized story on the Queensland 2011 floods opened the Overcoming Adversity, Stories for Andrew e-book. She’s currently working on finishing several novels begun during the annual NaNoWriMo write fest.

Denise’s began blogging in 2007. Founding and hosting the flash fiction online writing communities—first RomanticFridayWriters and currently Write…Edit…Publish, with co-host Yolanda Renée have honed her writing and editing skills.

Further to her Word Press blog, Denise is online at her blogspot blog, Denise Covey, Café Writer, on Facebook, on Twitter, on Pinterest and Wattpad.

Denise welcomes you and would love you to join her on social media and she loves blog comments!

  1. Oh how lovely for you to leave me a comment here. I’m so sorry you lost your son, but how precious that you have found solace in writing. I have been blogging since 2007 so know a wide community. My main blog is at blogspot, but I started this WordPress blog as there is often a problem with people trying to comment on different blogging platforms.

Seriously, if you need any help or have any questions, here is my email:

You will find the writing community very welcoming.
